Although I remember taking 'Dell and Bonnie with me often when I was eight to ten years old, I didn't *know* 'Dell very well until we were older. I was in my teens when he was nine and eleven, then I was married and moved out west; then came home with a young baby, and had two more little children while he was graduating from high school and working. Then we moved to Ohio, and I seldom saw him, although he visited us in Ohio, and we stayed with him in PA.  He bought a house in central PA. and took on the responsibility of my Mom and Dad living with him.   In the last ten years or so, we have come to know each other well, and are very close.  He was interested in and collected Civil War memorabilia for many years, and had an excellent collection. His interest has turned to the Revolutionary period now, and he has a keen knowledge of it, and is always reading and learning.

The first photo is 'Dell and me with my Dad's Olds in 1957,
and in the middle one 'Dell is with my first two, Michael and Melody
Christmas of 1969; then right is
'Dell with three of my grandchilden, in fact my only three at the time - 9/95.

First photo above is Dell, my Mom and Dad in 1956; 2nd one is them plus Bonnie
about 1958; 3rd one is 'Dell with a friend and her family in November 1979.

for baseball, and is Marge, 'Dell, my Dad, Donn, Jo and Bud Dutcher, and was
in October of 1978. On the right is a picture of 'Dell taking a picture of me
taking a picture of him. <grin>
