On to the next generation....
These are my beloved grandchilden. I wrote the
following poem when
Brandon was born, but it applies to all of them........
A new little soul arrived on earth
via God, much-loved, today!
A wee loving package, invaluable worth
who will change our lives alway.
A life to love, and teach to love -
another mind to grow,
to fit our home like hand to glove
with seeds of love to sow.
May we guide their way with loving care,
and teach respect for all
the living creatures in this world -
may they grow proud and tall.

I've become the family photographer and writer, and take the photos at
most of the family parties and weddings, and write card poems and
make personal cards for all the events in the family (:D;
although both sons love to take photos, too, and are quite good at it.

Michael's children are the first photo, taken in 1996 - Ashley,
born June 1988; Whitney, born August 1986; Marcus, born October 1990.
Marc and Janna's children, taken when we took them to the zoo this past
June 2004. Brittney, born March 1999, and Brandon, born November 1996.

We took the older ones to Rock City, TN in October of 1998, and there is Jim, Ashley
and Marcus on the swinging bridge in the 1st photo. (I wouldn't go on it - I have
acrophobia (:D ) Brandon, almost 4, in October of 2000 in the 2nd photo, and Brittney, just over 2,
in a window in July 2001 in the third. The last photo is Jim and me with Whitney,
Marcus, and Ashley, and two friends when we took them to DisneyWorld in January, 1998.

Above, Ashley in May 2004; Marcus in October 2005 with his first pheasants;

and Brandon plays football, basketball and t-ball.

To come up to date, November 2005, Whitney graduated from high school in June;
Ashley is almost 17-1/2 and working and driving; Marcus is 15 and in jr. high,
looking forward to a driver's permit, working sometime.
Brandon and Brittney are into sports a lot; Brandon plays
football, basketball, soccer and coach ball. Brittney plays soccer and t-ball.
